This is our 2nd visit to Holly Tree Lodges. We love it here and the accommodation is wonderful. Both times we have stayed in winter and the lodges have been warm and cosy. The hot tub is fabulous as well. Highly recommended.

Stunning lodges in a great location. 10 minutes walk from University of York east campus. Great Location for exploring York close enough to walk into the centre. The lodges are excellent quality with the added addition of hot tub and sauna. This was our second stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Excellent Holiday For Myself, My Partner And My Dog. Loved the hot tub and sauna. Beautiful Lodge Throughout. The only 2 things that let our holiday down was the shower ( we’re used to a power shower so this is just being picky) also the fact that they are extending the site i think so it was a building site opposite our Lodge and very noisy throughout the day which ruined us chilling in the hot tub as it was very disturbing. Would come back but would have been nice to have been warned about the building works beforehand. Understand they are probably getting it completed before full season but still when trying to have a peaceful week it’s not nice.

Great cabin! Spacious and modern, but with rustic feel. Hot tub and sauna were lovely and easy to use. Loved that it was close to the city centre – the bus stop was just down the road and an Uber was approx. £10. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Great value booking. Very easy and good communication check in. Super facilities with clean and accessible hot tub. Nice extra with the sauna which was excellent. Only slight negative on the lodge was the double bed which was tired and lumpy. Good, friendly pub in the village ( Derwent arms) excellent quality food and nice beers. Bus service was a bit hit n miss ( waited 50 mins ) for a bus into the city. Lovely clean site and well organised behind the scenes. Not a lot in the immediate vicinity other than the odd store. York outlet shopping easily accessible down the A64 ( 10 min drive) All in all definitely recommended for a relaxing break.

Brilliant lodge in a great location close to York city centre. Lovely setting around the lake and plenty of catches for fishing. Sauna and hot tub were brilliant!
